Following the recent Victorian elections, Premier Daniel Andrews has announced the new cabinet and their portfolios.
Former Victorian Attorney General, Martin Pakula has been appointed Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events. Pakula also holds the portfolio for Minister for Jobs, Innovation and Trade as well as Minister for Racing.
In other tourism related news, Justin Hanney has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at the City of Melbourne. Justin Hanney was most recently the Lead Deputy Secretary of the Employment, Investment and Trade Group at the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources. He will commence in mid-January 2019.
