Mr. Don Skeoch, Chief Marketing Officer at Los Angeles Tourism and expert on the Millennial travel market, will this week visit Melbourne to present the international keynote address at Melbourne LIVE – a new and unique Melbourne Tourism Forum, to be held on Thursday 16 June at RACV City Club.
Renowned both nationally and internationally as a global brand marketer, Mr. Skeoch leads L.A. Tourism’s global brand strategy, market-growth and innovation initiatives, as well as the global marketing and communications functions across 12 countries.
Hosted by independent tourism organisation Destination Melbourne, Melbourne LIVE will provide key insights into the Millennial traveller and how the Melbourne tourism industry can, and needs to, position itself as a Millennial destination.
During his presentation Mr. Skeoch will share the story of the Los Angeles Tourism brand positioning and key brand pillars, which showcase LA’s diverse product base. He will also provide key insights into the creative approach and media strategy behind the recent Get Lost in L.A. campaign, which has a focus on Millennial travelers.
Whilst visiting our city, Mr. Skeoch will have the opportunity to experience Melbourne’s world famous dining and café scene, tour a range of key attractions such as the laneways and Queen Victoria Market and the National Gallery of Victoria’s Australia collection.
